Description

The Levenhuk Fatum Z250 is a headset thermal monocular with a form factor that allows the detection of a target of comparable size to a car up to 2400 m away. A smaller target, such as a wild boar, can be spotted at a distance of about 620 m. This tool is compact, lightweight and easy to hold, perfect for prolonged use. The main application areas are hunting and agriculture, security and search operations as well as outdoor sports.

The thermal image is produced by a microbolometer array with a resolution of 400x300 pixels. AND You can select color palettes from the five available. You can also use a laser designator capable of illuminate the target up to a distance of 200m. There is one automatic hot spot detection function, which allows for rapid response to any evolving situation. Magnification is a combination of optical and digital zoom and can be adjusted in discrete steps (from a minimum of 2.4x to a maximum of 9.6x).

This tool has a design particularly robust. In fact, it offers excellent performance even in in case of rain or snow, thanks to the IP66 protection rating: not even strong jets of water can damage this instrument. In design phase, we wanted to give maximum priority to energy efficiency. The power source is one rechargeable battery, you can set the mode energy saving and there is a shutdown function automatic for when the instrument is not in use. A single charge guarantees up to 7 hours of battery life. Another key element of the design is the tripod thread, with standard diameter from 1/4".

The monocular thermal imager is equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi module and is compatible with the TargetIR mobile app. After installing the app on the your smartphone, you can get real-time images from monocular thermal imager and change its settings remotely. In addition, via the app, you can take photos and record videos, saving them on your smartphone. It is also available rangefinder function. The thermal imager can be connected monocular to other external devices via Bluetooth or cable with a USB Type-C connector.
